Hey Jen!

You're room is terrific...I was one of the "closet dwellers" my senior year (class of '82).

We spent time with you this summer at reunion (although you can tell from the reunion photo album)

How did your field period go? Did our pal Mark come through for you?

I heard through another student that there was a massive malfunction with the sprinkler system in Ball Hall. I hope that it wasn't too exstensive.

Would love to hear from you! Good Luck with the rest of your time a Keuka. Do they still celebrate "100 days?"

Jen,
Your room looks great! Better than my room in my actual HOUSE! I want to go back to school, life was simple, someone else did all the cooking, I was young and thin(er)!
What floor are you on?
Take care and see you hopefully in June!

Is there anybody that can find a picture of George Harvey Ball for me? I have a picture from the Corning Room with an orb in it. I zoomed in on the orb and found an image of a man who I believe looks like Ball but I cannot find an image of him on the internet. Please respond back to me at kwardwel@mail.keuka.edu if you can help!
Thanks!

The pit is what is left of the Miller Dining Room when we ate in the basement. It was used for students to celebrate birthdays, reservations were needed, my parents ate there with me when I was a freshman and sophomore. Then the new dining room was made and no longer was the dining room in the basement of Ball Hall! So the Miller Room was no longer needed and the pit was what resulted

In my Sophomore year I lived on the 3rd floor corner rooms with "Len" Ellen O'Brian, Ginny Tyler and Ann Page. Ginny and Ann had the room overlooking the lake and Len and I had bunk beds in the inner room. I remember the wonderful sing alongs on the steps at Ball Hall. I also remember working in the dining hall Sunday evenings getting the trays prepared. The prune whip was delicious and something I had never tasted before and I guess it did its job in keeping us regular. I also remember the rumor that they were putting saltpeter in our food!!!! I am so pleased that Ball Hall is being renovated because it holds many wonderful memories.
